Previous Shows

Over the past two years, Not-A-Normal Show has taken over some of the most important and historical retail spaces in New York City that once defined the industry, transforming each venue into a multi-day cultural marketplace for independent design.

From our early seasons at Barneys New York to our large-scale activations at Canyon Essex and our multi-weekend takeover of Manhattan Mall, every show has been built with intention: thoughtful curation, immersive environments, and high-volume public retail experiences that bring community and commerce together.

Below is a growing archive of our previous editions and the spaces we’ve reimagined, each one a chapter in how Normal is redefining what retail can look and feel like today.

In 2026, Not-A-Normal Show continues expanding into its next chapter with new venue partnerships, new city activations, and a growing calendar designed to meet the demand for independent retail experiences at scale. Alongside our ongoing New York editions, we’re developing upcoming shows and pop-ups across Los Angeles, San Francisco and additional major markets. As we grow, our mission remains the same: to elevate small businesses, reactivate meaningful spaces, and create retail experiences that feel cultural, immersive, and worth showing up for.
